In the last couple of months I have started to listening to Hollywood Undead. My favorite song by them is Undead, but my favorite song is still Numb by Linkin Park. I am going to get a new game called Minecraft next month, one of my friends showed me it and I really liked it. The main idea of it is you just make your own world and mine for various minerals to make better stuff and if you want you can put monsters on. I got a new game called Rift about a month ago and I really like it. It is basically the same as WoW but it has a lot of better features. One of them is you can dye your armor. I am going to the 30 hour famine on Friday. You have to raise $40 for people in third world countries. There is a lot of flooding going on around Brandon. It has been going on for about a month.

Squires

It was my first day of being a knight's squire. My friends were giving me advice on how to address the knight and how to act around him. Between the two of us I figured we would be able to think of good ways to behave around the knight. They told me that I should be careful of what I say or do because it might affect how people think of the knight. Some of the jobs a squire has are to make sure the knights armor is clean, do errands for the knight and carry his weapons if he competes in a tournament.

On the day of the tournament I got to his tent the knight was already waiting for me, he told me I was late. He said his name was Sir Vance, but I should have all ready known that. He told me I would have to armor his horse and shine his armor before he competed.

After the first week I really hated being a squire but it was worth it because in order to become a knight I had to serve as a squire for two years.

Mysterious Strangers.

My legs were beginning to cramp as I sat motionless in my hiding place. I tried to slow my breathing, but I could hear my heartbeat drumming in my ears. I wondered if it could be heard in the deafening silence. I felt my calf muscle tighten painfully and as a reaction, I shifted my weight. The sound echoed and it was my fatal mistake. I knew that they had heard me so I slowly crept out of my hiding place and started to try and find a new hiding spot before they found me. Then I spotted a ladder leading to the attic. I climbed the ladder and searched for a new hiding spot. I soon found one. I went to it slowly and quietly as I could.

I heard voices shouting downstairs, they were searching for me. I stayed as still as I could and held my breath. After ten minutes they finally decided that I had left the room so they left and started searching for me in the rest of the house. Thankfully they didn't notice the ladder. They eventually left the house thinking I got out through a back door.

I waited 15 minutes in case they came back. After I was sure they wouldn't come back, I started to explore the attic. I soon learned that the previous owners had a huge collection of comic books. I decided to read some to pass the time since I couldn't leave without getting caught.

COLIN

Poetry Slam 2011

This year the poetry slam was held on March 8 in Mr O's room. The first speaker was Colin.

The MC's are Wyatt W, Carter, Kyle and Mack. The music people are Nathan, Jake and Kyran. The interviewers are Matt and Wyatt K. The video cameras are Lane, Montana, Marc and Colin. The picture people are Lexie, Jessica, Rhyan, KC and Sadye.The evaluators are Alex, Bradley, Meaghan, Candace. The photo story people are Adrienne and Allison. The video editors are Lane, Montana, Marc and Colin. The program makers are Kirsten, Larissa and Nicole. The media person is Rylen.

There were four entertainment breaks. There was a dance competition, a screaming contest, a song, and a cracker eating contest.

The Messy Room

My mother once told me that I needed to start cleaning my room more often. I said I would when ever I couldn't see the floor. She said I had to clean it know because she couldn't see the floor. I said that it was my brothers mess not mine, but she still made me clean it and he didn't have to because I tried to blame him for it. I said that I was telling the truth and that she was being unfair so she grounded me for 2 weeks for being a brat. After three days she ungrounded me because I cleaned up my room, got all my homework done and did all the dishes. So she said she was sorry and I took back everything I had said.

My favorite memory of grade 7

In grade 7 we went to Festival Du Voager in Winnipeg for french class. We got some free time around the end so Colin, Kyle and me went and bought snowcones. We were walking down a little hill when Kyle Said."Oh look there's Nathon." and he slipped on a little patch of ice. When he fell on his back he accidentaly thew his snowcone in the air and it landed right beside his head. We all burst out laughing and then Kyle hit Colin's snowcone out of his hand.

My day at Rylen's

One day I went to my friend Rylen's house after school. We were playing Call of Duty: Black Ops when his dad said, " You were supposed to shovel snow when you got home." So Rylen replied, "Oh ya I forgot." then he told me to play some wager matches until he got back so I said,"Ok." Then he went got his outside stuff on and went outside.

A couple minutes later I was playing a sticks and stones game. That is were you only get to use a crossbow, a knife, a tomahawk and a ballistic knife. At first I didn't really know what I was doing but after awhile I started to get the hang of it and before I knew it I had won. I looked back and saw Rylen looking really surprised because I usually don't do very good online. He said,"Good job."

Then one of Rylen's friends Matt invited him to a group, so Rylen said, "Nicks over, could he play too?" Matt asked." Nick W or Nick C?" Rylen answered. "C." Matt asked,"Is he any good?" Rylen looked at me and said, "He's alright." Matt said," sure." He then invited us to a group and we joined. At first we couldn't get it to let me in but after 10 minutes it finally let me in. So we played wager matches for half an hour then we switched to team death matches. Matt said."I thought you said he was good." Then I looked at the clock and
